Ever wondered what kind of jobs are available at Parliament House?
One that most people think of is Members of Parliament who are elected every four years to represent the people of New South Wales. As part of their role, they will have an office in their electorate where they can meet with constituents. They also have an office at Parliament House for Sitting Days when they come to parliament to represent their constituents. They do this by participating in debating Bills and make speeches in the Legislative Assembly if they are an MP or in the Legislative Council if they are an MLC. They also participate in Parliamentary Committees to inquire into important issues in the community.
