Accessibility & updated entry to Parliament
NSW Parliament House is committed to providing a welcoming and inclusive experience for all visitors and is a fully accessible venue.

As we are currently undertaking building works to replace the Macquarie Street Gatehouses, all Family Fun Day attendees should enter via the temporary Gatehouse entrance on Macquarie Street, where security screening will take place on arrival.

Please allow extra time when arriving, as periods of higher visitor numbers may result in some congestion at the entry point. Our staff and volunteers will be available throughout the day to assist visitors and help ensure a smooth experience.

Family Fun Day offers a variety of activities and environments to suit different comfort levels. Visitors are encouraged to explore at their own pace, choose activities that feel right for them and take breaks as needed. To help you prepare for your visit, we encourage you to download and review our Family Fun Day Sensory Guide, which includes information about the event environment, accessibility features, quiet spaces and available supports.

Before your visit, please read the Behaviour at Family Fun Day guidelines.
