WATCH NOW – Parliament Unpacked: Belonging & Representation

WATCH NOW – Parliament Unpacked: Belonging & Representation

Ever wondered what it means to be represented in a democracy? Or how the voices of communities across New South Wales find their way into Parliament?

Parliament Unpacked: Belonging & Representation brought these questions to life through a thoughtful panel discussion that explored how representation works in practice in NSW today. The conversation invited viewers behind the scenes of Parliament to better understand how elected members listen to their communities, engage with diverse perspectives and carry those voices into the parliamentary process.

Thank you to our panel: Ms Jacqui Scruby MP, Ms Charishma Kaliyanda MP, Dr Amanda Cohn MLC, Mr Michael Peter Kemp MP and to the Hon. Ben Franklin MLC, President of the NSW Legislative Council for joining us.

This event was proudly delivered by the Parliament of New South Wales’s Communications, Education and Engagement team, in partnership with the Australasian Study of Parliament Group.
