In October, the Parliament of NSW hosted its very first Breakfast Club event.

Our attendees received a crash course on Hansard from NSW Parliament’s Editor of Debates, Vanessa Schlenert – the third female Editor of Debates in its 144-year history.

“Hansard is a critical component of democracy; it is how we keep the Government open and accountable, and it provides transparency to the people of NSW.

Our job is to create an accurate, clear, coherent, and searchable written record of what is said in the chambers. Hansard truly captures the political mood of the state.”

The Breakfast Club is a networking event catered to those new to the corporate community. The event allows/allowed participants to deep dive into parliamentary processes and connect with future trailblazers from diverse business areas.
