Watch this edition of our Parliament Unpacked series – which examines the role of public institutions such as the NSW Ombudsman, Audit Office of NSW and the legislature as “watchdogs” for our democracy – to find out. 

The event brought together an expert panel with speakers from a range of trusted public institutions including: 

• Mr Bola Oyetunji, Auditor-General of NSW  
• Mr Paul Miller, NSW Ombudsman.  
• Ms Robyn Preston MP, Member for Hawkesbury, NSW Legislative Assembly.  
• Mr Jason Li MP, Member for Strathfield, NSW Legislative Assembly 

The interesting and lively panel discussion highlighted the role of these oversight bodies as well as the long history of these institutions in New South Wales, Australia and across the world.
