The Parliament of NSW Education team invites Year 11 students to participate in the Young Women’s Leadership Seminar to discuss women in leadership.

The Parliament of NSW Education team invites you and your Year 11 students to participate online in the young Women’s Leadership Seminar to discuss women in leadership.

Keynote presenter on the day is Joann Wilkie, Deputy Secretary for the Economic Strategy and Productivity Group at NSW Treasury. In this role, she leads the delivery of economic and revenue forecasting; provision of advice on economic policy and reform, including on productivity; and engagement with Commonwealth, State and Territories on key national reforms and issues. Before she joined Treasury, Joann worked in the Australian Public Service in Canberra for 20 years. 

This program is an opportunity for students to meet an inspiring leader who can speak on personal and professional experiences, and who can help young women aspire to leadership roles. In addition, a panel of female Members will discuss highlights, challenges and opportunities they have experienced in their careers.
