TEACHING PARLIAMENT – PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT AT THE HOUSE 

 

 

Join the Parliamentary Education Team at the NSW Parliament for a full day professional development program and explore a wide range of programs and teaching resources developed specifically for teaching HSIE: Stage 3 History, Stage 5 History Site Study, Commerce and Aboriginal Studies, Stage 6 Legal Studies. 

 

Thursday December 11, 2025

NSW Parliament, Macquarie Street, Sydney 

 

  • visit the NSW Parliament’s historic Legislative Assembly and Legislative Council chambers;
  • explore excursion options for your students at Parliament House and at other nearby institutions including the ANZAC Memorial and the NSW State Library;  
  • participate in a mock election and vote count with the NSW Electoral Commission;  
  • hear from a panel of MPs as they discuss the work they do in Parliament and in their electorates.

This program is free. Morning Tea and Lunch are included in the program.
